Debar Maalo
West of the centre, Debar Maalo is Skopje’s favourite neighbourhood for eating and drinking: low houses and leafy streets packed with kafanas, café-bars and terraces.
About Debar Maalo
Debarca and Orce Nikolov streets are the heart of it, with kafanas such as Skopski Merak and Kafana Debar Maalo, specialty coffee bars and cocktail bars. Mornings are for coffee on a terrace, evenings for long dinners with live music.
At weekends the neighbourhood is busy until late; book a table for dinner.
