About Kuklica stone dolls

At the village of Kuklica, about 13 km from Kratovo, erosion has carved soft rock into dozens of tall pillars that look like human figures. Local legend says they are a wedding party turned to stone; geologists call them earth pyramids. A short path leads among them. Our advice: come in the late afternoon, when the low light brings out the shapes.
