About May Opera Evenings
The first May Opera Evenings opened on 9 May 1972, and the festival now fills the whole of May at the National Opera and Ballet with opera, ballet and guest productions from visiting houses. Recent editions have brought Puccini, Verdi and Tchaikovsky to the Skopje stage. Our advice: book early for the opening night.
