About Popova Šapka
Popova Šapka is a mountain resort at about 1,780 m on the slopes of Šar Mountain, above Tetovo. In winter it is one of the country’s best-known ski areas; in summer the meadows and ridges are walking country, with long views over the Polog valley. Our advice: check the road and lift situation before you go; the old cable car from Tetovo is not a reliable way up.
