About National and University Library “St Kliment Ohridski”

The National and University Library was founded on 23 November 1944, one of the first institutions of the new Macedonian state. Its home on Bulevar Goce Delčev was completed in 1972, designed specifically as a national library, and extended in 2009. Our advice: an interesting stop for anyone curious about the Macedonian language and its books.
